This year, Buddha’s Birthday in Korea fell on May 5th, which is also Children’s Day. Since both are national holidays, the government gave everyone a rare two-day break.
I wish I could say I enjoyed both days completely, but I’ve been pretty busy with schoolwork and volunteer activities.
Still, I managed to ride my bike for a few hours along the Han River this afternoon and enjoy how beautiful Seoul is in the spring.
